Tracfone Promotional Codes

TracFone Promotional Codes

Tracfone promotional codes current as of May 10,  2013

NOTE: If you are looking for a promo code to be used when buying a new phone or airtime card package from TracFone.com,please check out this post.

Please refer to the “Adding Airtime” section of my $3 ebook (THE Unofficial TracFone User’s Guide) for detailed instructions on how to use the promotional codes.

TracFone Promo CodesTo use the following table, first determine which card you are going to add, then scan down the “bonus” column and select the code with the bonus of your choice. If one of the codes will not work on your phone, proceed to look down the column for the next best code, and repeat until you find a working code, if necessary.

You’ll notice that I have included in this list some codes whose reported expiration date has passed, and for other codes, the expiration date column is either “unknown” or blank. This is because Tracfone seems to have inconsistent policies on the expiration dates – at times the codes will be valid well beyond the stated expiration date.

Finally, these codes are listed for the smallest card to which they can be applied. Most Tracfone bonus codes can be applied to the card denomination for which they are stated to work, or any larger card.

Also, after you are done using the bonus codes, please check out the other posts on my blog, which you can find links to on the right side of this page. You might even like to subscribe to receive free updates by email.

I do my best to keep this current. If you attempt to use any of these codes, I would appreciate hearing about your success or failure for specific codes. Please feel free to reply in the “comments” section of this post to let me know what codes are or are not working for you. Thanks!

Please bookmark this page and refer back to it as you need to. I will keep it updated with all current Tracfone codes that I know of. If you’d rather find them yourself, my two main sources are the Tracfone User Group at Yahoo! and Fatwallet Forums.

Also, as I mentioned earlier, there are more ways than just bonus codes to save with Tracfone and I’d be happy to have you check out my discussion of some of these topics by clicking on the links on the right, or subscribe to receive free updates by email. THANKS!

1. 65091 works on 13DEC10. Pretty new code, but still excited that they didn’t pull the plug on it too quick. For twenty bucks, I get 220 minutes (double minutes for life phone, sixty minutes card X 2 + 100 mintes).

• I just used 84341- for 30 bonus min with a 60 min card. I used to use 67861 for 60 bonus but that wont work anymore. Tried lots of promos for 60 min card finally this one worked.

2. Thanks for the wonderful work you do to keep us updated on the codes. I used 65091 today and got 100 bonus on a 60 minute card(LG 290C)and 50 minutes on a 120 minute card (Mot. W376G). Puzzling isn’t it. Yes, you read it correctly, more bonus minutes on the smaller card.
I’m thankful for any bonus!

3. Hello-65091 worked awesome for today (12/15/10) added 100 to my
60 unit card–thanks for keeping this site current–I have had this site on my desktop for over 2 years now and you have saved me alot of $$$$ thanks again!!!

4. The bonus 100 min with code 65091 came in handy when I had to reactivate dh’s Lg 200c which doesn’t have DMFL.

Got 160 min instead of 60!

I also used it on my phone and got 220 min, great!

5. 65091 (100 min bonus) worked great on 12/15/10. Like the other poster I have a double minute phone so I got 220 mins for $19.99, can’t beat that! Additionally I want to say, I have only been a Tracphone user for a few months now and purely because of this site I have already received a total of 160 free minutes. I want to thank you for posting these bonus codes, what a great added value to having a prepaid phone.

6. I used this 65091 promo code and got 100 free minutes on 12/18/10 using a 60 minute card. Shared it with two other tracfone users who also got the free 100 minutes. Again much appreciation for your wonderful website as I always check here before adding any minutes to my Tracfone. Thanks so much. Judy

7. 65091 still works on 12-21-10. Bought reconditioned 420g, got the 60 minute card , free overnight shipping on tracfone website, used promo code 23444 for $3 off order, got the whole shootin match for $18.01 tax and all. What a bargain, what a deal. Thanks Patrick for all the info.

I’ve got a straight talk phone now, tad better then tracfone. I do recommend it for people who talk a lot. They have a plan that’s only 45 a month that is unlimited text and talk and data.

Take care everyone and Happy Valentine’s day :)

Do you have codes that are currently active for One-Year – 400 min. w/250 bonus minutes?

Thanks for your reply.

• Did you try any of these online? I didn’t add any minutes officially, but I used the TracFone website to test a few of the codes and it looked like 16067 and 65588 should still work.

17. Just used promo code 77578 on my 200 min card. it worked. Card came with a 50 min “valentine” code of 57412 for 2/1/11 – 2/28/11

18. 2/14/11: 65091 (+100 minutes) did NOT work on the 120 Min. Card,
19941 (+50 minutes) DID WORK on the 120 min. Card.
Thanks for helping us save money with our Tracfones!

19. I used 98456 (not listed above) today on two phones to get 40 bonus minutes on a 60 min. card. Since both phones are DMFL I got 160 minutes on each.

20. 022211 – Just tried code 77578 – got 100 bonus minutes with 200 minutes card. On my w376g phone with DMFL, that means 500 minutes! Good deal!

21. Trying with 60 min card on DMFL phone: 65091 and 53211 no longer valid. 94883 worked for 30 bonus minutes.

Thanks for your dependable site and information.

22. 77578 worked today (2/28/11) added 100 free units to my 200 unit card. Plus my phone doubles minutes, so 500 for the price of 200. Does not get much better than that, Thanks!

23. with 200 minute card (and DMFL on phone)

these would not work today:
77578, 73980, 35100, 71843, 87562, 51684, 65091, 86365, 56862

24. 03-22-2011
Used Code 98456 received 40 additional Minutes.
with a 60 minute card
“Thank You” for the good information.

25. code 98456 did NOT work for me today: april 5. also, code 65091 is expired. However, I did get 40 minutes with a 120 airtime purchase with code 60860.

26. 98456 – worked fine for me today (April 6, 2011) – gave me 40 bonus minutes as advertised. Used on 60 min card.

27. I HAVE A DOUBLE MINUTE PHONE, CARD EXPIRES APR. 26, ALL THE CODES SO FAR HAVE EXPIRED OR INVALID FOR THIS ONE YR. DBL MIN. WILL THERE BE MORE CODES YOU WILL POST?

• Hi Doris
I usually update the list once a month, early in the month. The April update is now complete, so most likely I won’t be updating it until May unless I find a really great code that I just have to share right away.

• Double minutes ( DMFL Double Minutes For Life ) is for the ENTIRE life of the phone. No need to redo or purchase again as it does not expire. It is non trasferable, so if you get a new Tracfone you need to purchase another DMFL. So until the phone you are using with the double minutes quits working, or you retire it, you will enjoy double minutes each purchase you make! Good luck!

28. 4/12/11 – I used 71843 for 60 bonus minutes on a 200 minute card and it went through.

First, I tried 65091 (online), and it said this number had expired. So I tried 77578 (again), and I got the message that it wasn’t valid for my phone. Looks like they keep track of the codes that have been used for each phone.

Thanks for making this information available to us!

29. I have a DMFL phone – used a 90 minute card and 65091 entered on the phone’s add airtime screen. Only received the 180 minutes with no opportunity to use a different code.

• Larry, that stinks. That’s why I recommend using TracFone.com to redeem your airtime. It will give you a second chance to use a code if the first is invalid.

30. Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that I used code 77578 on my DMFL phone today with a 200 min. card and received 100 bonus minutes with that code. I received 500 mins. total.

31. 4/17/11 Bought a 200 min. card today and used PROMO CODE 77578,thinking I would get an additional 100 min.free; ended up getting 300 min. free. Hard to believe. Never made out this good before. Thank-you for your postings. I’ll be back. Debbie

• Like me, you probabally have a DMFL ( Double Minutes For Life ) card. So you bought 200, and automatically got 200 more with the DMFL. You would get that if you entered a Promo code or not. Then the promo code you used added another 100 minutes for a total of 300 bonus minutes. The promos are GREAT, but even greater is the DMFL card! Good job!

32. 4/23/11 Took my friends phone with 121 min. on it/ added a 200 min. card and the same promo I used earlier this month #77578 and ended up with 621 min. total.Works out to another 300 min free. Thanks again for your updates.{I know I’ll be back…!}Debbie

33. I used code 77578 today and was able to receive 500 min. for $40.
Thanks so much for keeping up with and publishing these codes.

34. I used code 77578 today on a 450 min card and got 100 bonus minutes plus my double minutes for a grand total of 1000 minutes. Thanks for updating these codes. You have saved me a lot of money over the years. :)

35. Purchased 60 minutes online for DMFL phone = 120 minutes. Used code 65091 for an additional 100 minutes. Total of 220 minutes for $20 plus tax, etc.

36. Duh, meant to say thank you for the information on this site. Like many others have said – you have saved us alot of money over the years. Truly appreciated.

37. Hi Patrick

Me too. 20.41, tax license and out the door. 220/90 days. What a deal!

However, I am sorry that I did not take advantage of the HSN $100 deal, just because I might like to have the “free” 800G.

Thanks again y’all.

GeeBee

38. Extra bonus minutes:

I just used the code 20982 for 250 minutes on a 400-minute, 1-year card, and I got 270 bonus minutes! I bought the airtime on the Tracfone site, so I don’t know if the 20 extra minutes are only when buying on the Tracfone site itself.

39. 5/ 10 …. I juse used the free 30 minutes on the 60 minute: 84341 and it worked.

thanks for getting the codes to us so fast PBush.

40. Just used code 65091, worked fine. Purchased 60 minutes online for a DMFL phone, received an additional 60 minutes plus bonus 100 minutes for a total of 220 minutes.
Thanks for posting the Tracfone codes. I always purchase more minutes when good deals on bonus minutes are available with the codes.

41. Just used code 65091 on 60 min card on my LG290C with dbl min for life, and received 220 mins. That was a very pleasent surprize.

42. Used code 65091 05/17/2011 with 60 minute online purchase and received 220 total minutes. (DMFL phone) Tried to use the code with a 60 minute card I purchased at a brick and mortar store and got “code expired” message. I tried to use the card before I made my online purchase.

43. Just used Code 65091 with a 60 minute online purchase and got 160 bonus minutes (DMFL), 220 minutes total. Thanks!

44. Hi Patrick and friends

I title this “Win some loose some”

58906 what a deal! I’m going to add to the other TRACFONES, too. 320 minutes for $20.41 Tax, license and out ‘da door!

Loose soome:

After futile hours with customer service, I dug through your earlier stuff and found the number of the Executive Resolution Department in Miami. 48 hours later the FedEx letter arrived with a new SIM card, so now on ATT with all TracFones.

…But, grrrrrrrrr, 600G getting 5 strong bars, and the 420G side by side a weak 3-2 bars???

Was there that much difference in the field strength between the two models?

Also, V/M still inoperative as it appears that I am still on T-Mobile [phone shows T-Mobile land line number].

Another quick call to ERD, thanked them for the super [FedEx]service, and re: V/M they had the old ticket number and assured me that in 24-48 hours the V/M would be corrected [or to call them back].

As always, Patrick, you provide a service that is like a private club. Where do I send the donation? At minimum, your favorite ‘Cause’?

Got to go now, and use this code some more before they catch on. By the way, remember, you must use TF website, preferably your account, to add time, and then its really quick! Code 58906 60 minute card x 2 DMFL + 120 + 200 bonus = deal $20/320 = about 6 cente a minute. YES!

Gentle Ben

45. I just used code 58906 on a 60 min. purchase online (= 120 min. on DMFL phone) and received 260 bonus minutes and 90 days.

• Woops! I just realized that Tracfone’s message that I received 260 bonus mins. includes the 60 on the DMFL. Anyway, still a great deal!

46. Just used 77578 on a 200 min. card & received 100 bonus min. on my DMFL phone for a total of 500 mins.

47. Promo code 65091 didn’t work today but 98456 did. 60 minute card with DMFL + 40 = 180 minutes. What a deal – thanks.

48. 6/12/11 Hi, I heard that you had 2 chances of adding a Promo code; I took a chance and tried the same code from 4/ 23/11 for an added 100 min. on a 200 min. card and BINGO, I got an additional 200 bonus min. with the same Promo code #77578 and that’s without a DML..You’re saving me alot of $- Thank-you!

49. Not sure how that happened without it being DMFL….your lucky day I guess.

50. Used 21480 today to get 300 additional minutes on a One Year 400 minute card. Phones has DMFL so 1,100 minutes. Thank you, thank you!

51. Used 21480 with 1 yr – 400 min card that I bought on Amazon.com and got the 300 bonus along with my 800 DTMF on my Motorola W376g. Thanks for your blog!!

52. 21480 just worked on two of our DMFL phones for 300 min. free w/a 400-min. card. Total of 1100 min. & 365 days for $100. Perfect for people who just need the phone for a few minutes a day and don’t want to pay big monthly cell plan fees. Thanks so much!!

53. 06/25/11 – 0900 edst – 21480 still working with 400 min 1 yr card

Used 21480 with 1 yr – 400 min card that I bought on Amazon.com and got the 300 bonus along with my 800 DTMF on my LG3280. Thanks for your blog!!

54. I appreciate your email updates, and the heads up on the new LG800G. I ordered one and received it on Friday, the 24th. Logged on to the Tracfone site about 4.00 pm, and did the online activation. They say within 24 hours, but it took until Sunday morning, about 11: am.

Very slick phone, with a nice overall layout.

I ordered a 8 gb, micro SD chip (Kingston 8GB Micro SDHC+ SD adapter and USB reader, Model MBLY4G2/8GB; $13.99), and a micro/USB cable from Newegg for $24.00 total.

After reading the User manual (download from Tracfone), I went back to Newegg’s site, and ordered a BlueTooth USB adapter for another $14.78.

Per your bonus list, I tried the 200m card with the 100m bonus #77578; still works as of today, 6/26/11.

Thanks for a really useful Blog and site.

Regards,
John

55. just tried 77578. did not work. got a message to call cust.service. still on hold. auto. message said 30 min. wait–but “your call is very important”–right. will update – was on hold abt 15 min(wisely used land line) Success I used 77578 back in Feb. Can use code only once. Used 81898 for 80min. Lady @ Tracfone was very helpful and stepped right thru process of adding 80 min. manually.

56. is’t posible to unlock my LG800G?so that i can in the other network?coz im going home in the philippines this coming sep,pls help me….many tnx

57. is’t possible to unlock my LG800g?so that i can use in the other network in the philippines cos im going home this coming sep.im a seaferer pls help me many tnx

58. I used code 99908 today (07/02/11) on a 450 min card and got 100 bonus minutes plus my double minutes for a grand total of 1000 minutes. Thank you!!!

59. I bought a 60min/90 day card online. I used code 58906 and got 30min bonus for a total of 90min. Total cost is $21.73. Thank You.

60. 67861 worked for a 60 (x2 for me) minutes bonus on purchase of 60 minutes. Like Phil, with DMFL I got 180 minutes as well.

Lovely! Thanks for running this site.

61. On a 1 year card, 21480 didn’t work and 39325 didn’t work. 26573 worked but only gave 200 bonus units instead of the 250 listed. Still love this list and use it all the time.

62. 21480 300 bonus minutes with a 1 year 400 minute card worked for me today. Used at 1 P.M est time. Got 1100 minutes for one year. Nice.

63. I just received a message from TracFone with a promo code for 20 extra minutes when registering a 60 minute or greater card: 83118

64. Wow! Not only did 77578 add 100 min to a 200 min card (doubled, plus 20 for new activation, for a total of 520 min), but I’ve got 150 days, too!

My new LG500G looks like it’ll do what I want, it’s a nice upgrade from my W370. Thank for your reviews, and for posting the codes!

65. 65091 has expired
67861 worked on my 60 minute DMFL card, 180 minutes total (it’s listed under 120+, but it should be moved to 60+)

66. I have a Moto376, DMFL and tried codes 65091, 98456, 58906, 84341, and 83118 with a 90 minutes card purchased at WalMart. Kept getting message that phone was wrong for promo code. Finally the TracFone system just doubled the 90 minute card and added 90 days. Have used promo codes before successfully. RATS!

• I just used 77578 for etra minutes…just went to website but did not go to my account and got a message that the code would not work for my phone (DMFL LG600) I backed out and signed in…this time it gave me 200 min and the 100bonus code was accepeted so recieved 300 min. totoal but it did not give me double minutes as it should have. Not sure why this happened but call to Tracfone hopefully will resolve this issue. (Or I just got cheated)

67. 67861 worked on 7/17 to add 60 bonus minutes on a 60 min. card.

Thanks to other posters, as this code is not listed under 60 min. cards.

68. Yep … For sure, # 65091 is expired. I tried it on July 6th, and it didn’t work, but I received the text message to call Customer Service to complete the transaction. The lady in India DID confirm that code is gone,
However – # 67861 is still working today, on 6/23/11. Got the 60 bonus minutes. Woo-Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GREAT site, and THANK YOU for all the good information!

• A great tip for entering code is to do it online via the Tracfone website rather than entering directly on your phone becasue if certain codes don’t work for you. The option to enter a new code is easier and you won’t have to call customer service just keep trying until you find one that works.

I’ve used tracfone for so many years that my service doesn’t expire until 2023 and i hope I’ll still be around to double check! ;)

69. 77578 (100 bonus min. on 200+) got me this message:

The Promotional Code you entered is not valid for your current phone. Please enter a different Promotional Code and try again, or simply clear it and continue.

70. One would think that rather then giving up on the FREE MINUTES offered by those Promotional Codes that you would call one of TracFones Customer Service numbers and have one of them “input” your Bonus Minutes that your phone is obviously rejecting. Guess Common Sense is no longer Common! Oh well…..

71. As of 8-3-11 code 67861 worked on 60 minute card for 60 bonus minutes. Code 65091 did not work (100 bonus minutes on 60 minute card).

72. oops, that was wrong…I forgot the message on my phone also included my original double minutes so the code 67861 in fact gave me 60 bonus minutes on a 90 minute card…I’m still happy though ;) Thank You !

73. August 5th 2011
I just tried the promo card for 120 minutes:

120 Min. (or greater) 100 Min. 65091 Worth a try

Save your money. It is not working.

74. Tried on Aug5-2011, code 67861 worked on 60 minute card for 60 bonus minutes. Code 65091 did not work (100 bonus minutes on 60 minute card).

75. I have a question on DMFL phones. Say you bought a DMFL phone and then bought a Newer DMFL phone….then switched back to the first…should you still get DMFL on both since they were both bought as DMFL. And also what if you then went back tot he second one…should they always be DMFL. Just asking cause I had a DMFL LG600g then got a LG800g and then switched back to my LG600g but did not get DMFL when applying a card for more minutes. I had to call Tracfone to get it fixed but not sure if when I have to add more mnutes again I will have the same problem fo no doubling of minutes.

• Chris,
I believe that you can now call the 800 number and confirm that a phone has DMFL on it. And, yes, both phones should have DMFL on them in the scenario you described.

76. Code #67861 still works, on 8/13/11! Used an 90 minute card on my DMFL phone, and got the other 90 plus the 60 bonus minutes. And … This was the second time I used that code. (I wasn’t sure if the same code could be used twice on the same phone. Took a chance, it came up good!)

77. Code #67861 is still working on 8/13/11! Used it with a 90 minute card on my DMFL phone. (Wasn’t sure if the same code could be used twice on the same phone, but I also used it on 7/23/11.)
Thanks!

78. Finally my prayers were answered for a tracfone that has all the bells and whistles…..and then some. I’m talking about my new motorola ex124g !!! I purchased online from tracfone for $79.99 got free shipping by fedex ground and…wait for it…………TRIPLE MINUTES FOR LIFE !!!!!!! Oh by the way Bonus code 67861 on a 60 minute card is still working as of this post for a bonus of 60 minutes. So I added a 60 min card and got 240 minutes total added to my phone and 90 days of service. I now have 10,943 service days left, can anyone top that??? reply to my post and we’ll find out.

79. I tried all of the promo codes under the 60 minute card except for the ones that were already marked “expired” and I couldn’t get any of them to work on September 6, 2011.

Thanks for the promo code listing and other Tracfone info. I’ve used the codes before and they have saved me $$.

80. Are there any current codes for purchasing a tracfone on their site.
The old one ‘gi2011′ does not seem to work any longer.
thanks
I’m looking to get a 420 w/ a 60 min card for the offering of 19.99.

• I just tried GI2011 for the $5 off, but this popped up:

The following Error(s) occurred:
Promotional code GI2011 does not qualify for your current order.

s there a different one? Or must it be some other type order?

Anyone know?

81. 70826 did not get me 120 bonus minutes when i added a 60 minute pin. Had a message come up on my
screen to call tracfone to complete the transaction. It only added 60 minutes and 60 bonus minutes. I called and found out that the 120 bonus minutes is only good on a 120 minute card. There was no way they could revert back and let me use a different promo code either.

Don’t use 70826 on a 60 minute pin!

82. I used promo code 99908 on a 450 minute card and got 450 minutes + 450 DMFL + 100 bonus minutes. FYI – PROMO CODE 20133 HAS EXPIRED!!! Thanks for saving me TONS of money!

87. 67861 worked for me on Oct 5, 2011.

Thank you St. Patrick for prayers received. How rockin’ is that, to get 60 bonus minutes on a 60 minute card, (plus the 60 min. DMFL bonus on top of that)! 90 days more of phone service for a pittance.

Some people pay thousands per year for their cell phone bills, and the payments to a corporation enslave and torment them. I pay less than a hundred per year, thanks largely to this blog’s promo codes, such a small amount that I don’t have to think of my phone as an expenditure. Thanks sincerely, PBush, for freeing me from the tyranny of yet another yearly expense.

88. 200 Min. (or greater) 100 Min. 77578
I bought the 200 minutes card and this promo worked today. With DMFL I added 500 minutes. Thanks for helping me save for college!!

89. I just purchased a 60 min. card while setting up my new phone. When I gave the guy the 67861 promo code he told me that, in addition to the extra 60 minutes provided by the code, I would also receive an extra 60 service days. I ended up with 190 minutes and 150 service days for $21.73 total. I’m a light user, so I’m all set for a quite a while. This is going to be a LOT cheaper than Verizon, and I’m still using their network…

91. The following codes did NOT work for LG 800g TMFL phone with a 1 year/400 min card:
21480, 44811, 88840

Not sure if any promo codes will work for a TMFL phone…

92. Today, promo code 99908 worked for 100 bonus minutes on a 450 minute card on my Motorola 376G DMFL phone. Thanks for a great website you have gotten me many bonus minutes over time, thanks again.

93. 70826 works, but 65091 does not on 120 minutes – happy with my triple minutes when you add this bonus! I just bought 120 minutes and used the above code for a total of 300 bonus minutes – not bad when you get 420 minutes for the price of 120!! Thanks for all that you do with the updates, etc.!

94. Hello all,
Just used promo code 67861, on November 8, 2011 for 60 bonus minutes on a 60 minute card. WORKED GREAT. Also got 60 more because I have a double minute for life phone.
THANKS to this sight for the code!!!!!

95. Just ended up with 210 minutes using code # 67861. I have double minutes plus 30 bonus. Ended up with an additional 60 minutes. All this for just $19.69 on Pinzoo.com.

Great savings

96. 81898 worked on 11/25/11 for 80 extra minutes on 200 min. card.
77578 worked on 11/25/11 for 100 extra minutes on 200 min. card once

98. I just used code 99908 today (12/8/11) for 450 min + 100 min bonus. Since my phone has double minutes for life, this equals 900 min. +100 min. for a total of 1,000 min.

99. I used promo code 99908 again (see my 9/20 post) on a 450 minute card. I got 450 minutes + 450 DMFL + 100 bonus minutes (total 1000 minutes). I was pleasantly surprised I could use the code again. Thanks so much!

100. Gotta love code 99908. I used it for the second time on my husband’s tracfone when I added a 450 minute card. SWEET!!! Thanks again for saving us $$$ :)

101. tried all of the 1 yr 400 minute codes on 2 computers, 69555,21480,39325,26573,16067. None worked, made no purchase because of it.

• I looked in my emails and on PBush’s site. Then I tried to input the promo codes with a purchase of 1 yr 400 minutes so the added minutes would come through.

104. tried again to buy 1 yr 400 minute cards and use 21480,39325,26573,16067. all came up expired. will now try 78254. Hey, its working!

105. Just added another card to a dbl min phone. 200 minutes, doubled, and extra 100 minutes. promo code 77578 for the 100. Going to have to do this to my triple min phone.

106. 67861: Valid as of 1/24/2012.
Card minutes : 60
+ DMFL: 60
+ Bonus minutes: 60
——————————
TOTAL MINUTES: 180

107. Used code 67861 for 60 bonus minutes (180 total with double minute phone). Thank you, Patrick for making this info. available.

108. Hi,
I just tried 67861 and 60491 and tracfone replied that they wouldn’t work for my phone , but code 84341 (30min) would work. I wonder what the algorithm is that decides what will work for which phone, incidentally I got my “sim card” changed to AT&T. Tracfone was very difficult about making that change. They wouldn’t let me keep my old phone #. So I figure they are still punishing me for the change to ATT.

109. I recently purchased a 120 minute card for 29.99 and used the promo code (66836) which advertised 60 bonus minutes, surprisingly what I received was a bonus 180 minutes giving me a grand total of 300 minutes for 30 bucks! Must be my lucky day? If anyone else wants to give it a whirl let me know the results.

110. Just used code 66836 for 60 bonus units on a 120 unit card on my DMFL phone for a grand total of 300 units for $29.99 srp. Thanks for the great promo codes and this awesome site! (Feb. 6th,2012)

111. Wow, I don’t know what Tracfone is doing to the promotional codes, but if it’s going to be this frustrating next time around, I’ll seriously consider switching providers.

120min card, going down the entire list, all were “not valid for your current phone”, expired, or “you have used it the maximum number of times” (despite me never having used it) until I got to 60860 for 40 extra minutes. After cycling browser data three times to get around their site limit of 3 tries, of course.

I really appreciate the list, I’m just frustrated with Tracfone’s changes.

113. just used a 200min. card and used 77578 and they wanted me to contact them. should i contact them or what. ive used this before with no problem what should i do

• Sir/Mam, please contact them to get the proper bonus minutes credited to your phone. I had do do this before. It’s kind of a pain but worth it in the end to get the free minutes owed to you! ;)

114. Just bought 120 minutes and got 180 bonus minutes meaning 400 total minutes for the price of 120!
Have to love the bonus minutes list!

115. 67861 just used on 60 minute card DMFL phone got 180 minutes total. Thanks very much for providing this service. I do have a question maybe you can answer. I seldom use the phone so minutes are really building up. I understand they don’t expire as long as I keep the phone active, but can they be transfered to another phone if this one were to break or I just wanted a better phone? I hadn’t seen an answer to that question anywhere. Thanks again.

• Hi Dave
I would strongly suggest that you be careful with this. First off, definitely document all minutes that you add. Keep a spreadsheet to track when you add minutes and how many you should have in total. I wrote about something along these lines here:http://www.pbush14.com/2008/09/24/emergency-preparedness-and-tracfone/
To answer your questions, yes, you CAN transfer these minutes to a new phone, whether you decide to upgrade, or if you lose or break the original. But due to fraudulent activity of some customers in the past, TracFone has become suspicious of transferring high numbers of minutes to new phones (anything over 1100 seems to trip some kind of alarm, the last I heard). For that reason, you will want to be able to document that you actually paid for the minutes on your phone in the event you want to transfer those minutes to a new device.
This is just fair warning; it’s possible that you could try to transfer 3000 minutes and they wouldn’t even care. Perhaps they have improved their internal tracking system; I don’t know. But just be prepared for the possibility that they would question you on the authenticity of those minutes.
Next, i gotta ask, have you considered buying just a year of service, rather than more minutes? There are a couple of ways to do this. 1) when you buy airtime online, they will give you an option to “supersize” your purchase. Among the supersize options offered is one year of service for $50. Another way to do it is to enroll in one of their monthly plans, that extends your service one month at a time ONLY if the service would otherwise lapse. I believe that service costs $5.95 a month, and you can sign up for it on Tracfone.com under “my account” or “monthly plans.” With either of these options, obviously you wouldn’t get any minutes and that kind of stinks, but even if you get a very low cost per minute, is it a good deal if you don’t really need those minutes? That’s a question only you can answer.

• Thanks a lot for the information you gave me. I am sorry it wasn’t till my next 90 day period to buy minutes that I read back and saw you had answered my question.

116. Just added 200 minutes to my phone and tried to use the promo code 77578 and got the message – you have used the promotional code the maximum number of times. Funny thing is I haven’t bought a 200 minute card for at least a year and a half. How could I have used the code the maximum number of times? So I tried a different code and was told that one was expired. The promo codes are great, but not when it cheats you out of additional time. This is the first time it’s happened to me. BUMMER!!
Is there anything a person can do to get the bonus minutes after that kind of experience?

117. I just used the 94074 code for 60 bonus min. on the 120 min. card and it worked. I have the LG 501c with double min. so I actually received 300 min. I used this on Fri. 2/17/2012

118. The code for 50 bonus minutes 40099 did not work at tracfone.com on February 19, 2012. The code for 40 bonus minutes 71901 did work did work February 19, 2012.

119. Love this web site, been using it for years now. Thank you for your hard work! The only thing I would change and I don’t know if it is possible but it would be to have the most recent comments at the top instead of the bottom. Thanks agan!

120. I used promo code 99908 again (see my 9/20/2011 & 12/13/2011 posts) on a 450 minute card. I got 450 minutes + 450 DMFL + 100 bonus minutes (total 1000 minutes). I was pleasantly surprised I could use the code again & again on the same phone. Thanks so much!

121. For the One Year – 400 minute card, I tried 21480, 39325, 26573 without success, but got 78254 from a different source, and it worked for 350 bonus minutes on 3-26-12. Thanks Pbushx2 for all that you do!

122. 3/30/12 Code 60491 showed expired was successful with 84341 for 30 bonus on a 60 min card. I could not use the codes for 60 or 40 min because I had already used them. Thanks for your list. Karen

123. I have used some of the higher minute codes on a 120 or 200 minute card. I seem to only be able to use them one time. Any suggestions as to how to use them more often? Thank you.

124. Used 67861 again on 4-14-12 with a 60 minute card and received 60 bonus minutes. This was the second use on the same phone (LG 800G).

Decided to try my luck again today (4-15-12) and used 67861 to purchase 60 minutes online at Tracfone’s website and I received 60 bonus minutes. This was the third use on the same phone (LG 800G).

NOT going to push my luck anymore though!

• Darrell, thanks for taking the time to share your experience here. Input like yours helps to make the list more reliable and complete.

• Susan,
So far TMFL has been available only on certain phone models, and you’ll need to buy those phones to get TMFL. It’s possible that in the future you will be able to buy a special TMFL card to apply to your current phone, but so far that hasn’t happened.
For more discussion of the cost benefits of TMFL, check out prepaidphoneguy.com this afternoon (april 19) for a new post.

126. As of 4/22/2012, codes 20982, 24332, 13062, 97529, 86106, and 89901 are all expired. Code 99908 still gives 100 bonus mins on a 450 min card.

127. I just successfully used promo code 67861 with a 60 minute card on my Motorola W376g DMFL phone. 60min. + DMFL 60 min. + promo code 67861 60 min. = 180 minutes, from my 60 minute card. :-)

128. I used 77578 for 100 extra minutes on a 200 minute card on April 30 and it worked. I come to your site every time I buy minutes. Awesome

129. I used 67861 today (5-5-12) and it gave me 60 bonus minutes on a 120 minute card. I have used this code four times now (3 times on 60 minute cards and once on a 120 minute card).

130. I have used several codes over the last few attempts where the codes didn’t work.the codes where 81898 and 77578 over the last two attempts i called the track phone number and was told that there expired

131. I called technical assistance. “Julian” stated that promo code 67861 was only good for May of 2011. A number of websites stated it was good for this year, but his system kept telling him it was 2011. None of the codes we tried worked. He also stated that my Tracfone should have had a savings book in the package. There was no book.

132. 77578 used today 5/16/12 for 100 bonus minutes while activating wifes new R455c with TMFL. 700 min. and 90 days for $40. How awesome is that? Thanks so much for publishing these promo codes!!!

133. Had a One Year – 400 Min. to apply and tried all 4 codes listed above that were valid on the 15th of May. None of them worked. All said that they had expired. Found a code of 86077 on another site that worked for 250 bonus units. So, that’s good, but I always check here first.

134. I used 77578 on a 200 card when reactivating my niece’s LG290C. It appears it still had the DMFL feature even though the the days expired in October of 2011. I received 200 X 2 + 100 bonus minutes for a total of 500. I believe this code will not work again on the same phone. I get a nice feeling each time I get bonus minutes by using a bonus code. TracFone marketing psychology is working well on me.

135. 67861 60 min + 60 min on DMFL phone worked again for me on website. I only need it each 90 day period and I think this is third time I used that same number. Thanks Pbush for the great info you provide.

136. Just used the promo code #67861 today (6/5/12) and it added 180 min. I bought a 60min. card and have DMFL with the 60 min bonus code. Sweet !!!!

137. Used code 67861; received 60 bonus minutes. 180 minutes for the price of 60. Thanks for the info and everyone that contributes.

138. #99908 works again on 06/10/2012 on a 450 minute card. (It is kind of like the Energizer bunny … it keeps on working and working and working … Ha!) Thank you so-o-o-o much!

139. Used promo code 67861 on 6/12/12 for the 5th time on the same TMFL phone and received 60 bonus minutes in addition to the 180 tripled minutes on a 60 minute card.

140. Just tried promo codes 60491 & 98456 and they are both expired so I tried code 84341 for 30 bonus minutes and it worked. YEA!! Thanks bunches!

141. 99908 worked (100 bonus minutes w/ 450 min card)!

The following didn’t work for me:
400 Min. (or greater) 250 Min. 86077 06/12/12
400 Min. (or greater) 250 Min. 20982 06/12/12
400 Min. (or greater) 200 Min. 24332 06/12/12
400 Min. (or greater) 200 Min. 13062 06/12/12
400 Min. (or greater) 200 Min. 97529 06/12/12
400 Min. (or greater) 200 Min. 86106 06/12/12

• Wow, that works out to 700 minutes for about $40, right? Just off the top of my head, it must be around 6 cents per minute. Nice! Thanks for posting.

142. I used promo code 67861 with a 120 minute card and it did nto work & I used the same promo code with a 60 minute card and it did not work either – I called technicl support and I had used up the maximum number of entries for that promo code – technical support takes l5 minutes on hold and you get transferred to a foreign call center – it just takes forever

143. 67861 got me 180 minutes with a 60 min card. Even when the web site told me the code was not valid for my phone ????
After the update I got a message that code 79163 would get me 20 minutes additional on a 60 minute card. That code wasn’t in the list above

144. The promo code 67861 works! Got 60 extra minutes for buying a 60 minute card and this is my 3rd time using I think this same code. Thank yooou(:

145. Don’t know what I would do without your money-saving codes.

******THANK YOU SO MUCH! ******

I want to say this every single time I buy minutes but I won’t clog up your blog. :)

P.S. Your phone reviews are extremely helpful as well. Thanks very much for that too.

• MJ, thanks so much for the kind words! It truly means a lot to me, and helps me stay motivated to keep doing what I do.

• Most of your code work perfectly, thanks again!

I had a 200 minute pin & used the promo code 94074 to snag an additonal 60 bonus minutes. So altogether I got 460 minutes, or 7 hours and 40 minutes of talk time. Not bad. I like the Tracfone becasue it works in every state I visit.

146. Thank you! Just tried 99908 and it worked. 100 bonus on a 450 minute card. Next time I buy time, I’m going to transfer your chart into an excel doc and sort by how many bonus points. Will try the highest point promo codes first.

I do, however, feel like I just gave myself a birthday present.

• When trying to use the 200 bonus code “41656″ on 200 minutes it gave me this message:

The Promotional Code you entered is not valid for your current phone. Please enter a different Promotional Code and try again, or simply clear it and continue.

81898 expired

78133 expired

73980 expired

35100 expired

When trying to use the 80 bonus code “77578″ on 200 minutes it gave me this message:

You have already used this Promotional Code the maximum number of times allowed. Please enter a different Promotional Code and try again, or simply clear it and continue.

147. Tried all the high amount codes here; all were invalid. Found 99908 for 100min on a 450min card on another site and it worked. Yay!

148. Today I tried the first 12 codes listed for 200 minute cards and none would work, either said expired, or not applicable with your phone.

149. Pingback: July TracFone Promo Codes, Exciting News | Prepaid Phone Guy

150. Used ~ 67861 ~ this date (60-min + double card (for many yrs) + promo code here). Worked fine! Basically triple minutes.

151. On August 4, 2012 in the 120 min card category I tried code 65091 (probably expired) and was told it has indeed expired.

I then tried 70826 and was told it has expired. I then tried 94074 and it worked, and I received the bonus minutes.

Thank you for this service.

152. 23497 worked for 30 minutes on 60 but I really wish the ones with more free minutes would’ve worked. I am not rich… minutes tend to add up fast since this is my only means of communication. Can’t afford a landline phone or a cell phone contract plan, being broke SUCKS, sigh!

However I do appreciate this site to help me stretch my dollars like rubber bands. The more minutes you buy the less per minute rate but at this time I can only do the $20 card at a given time. I just wanna cry… I wish things weren’t so hard!

153. I purchased a 200 min. pin this morning but none of the good codes worked for me so I tried the “94074″ in the 120 or more section and I got the 60 bonus. You can also get 40 bonus on 200 if you use the promo code “88064″. That code (expires on August 29, 2012) was directly on the Tracfone site but I wanted more bonus minutes than that so I came here.

154. tried 77578 for 100 on a 200 card. online activation used. my phone had run out of calendar time by 5 days. Online activation showed it worked and promo accepted. phone didn’t reactivate. called cust service that same day 8/21/12 service rep was on phone for 30 minutes, said it should reactivate in an hour. didn’t. called later in the day. said we needed a new sim, as the phone had been off. got new sim today, spent well over an hour with cust service. 8/24/12 they changed my ph number and didn’t allow the promo code, said it was for SAFELINK(?) I don’t think so. now another sim is being sent. burned on the promo code though, didn’t let me give another one. sim is so we can get our old ph number back. they offered me 50 minutes if we accepted the ph # change, but we prefer our number.

• ugh, what a headache! I like to use the “service protection plan” feature on TracFone to prevent losing a number in case i forget to add airtime.

60 Min. (or greater) 30 Min. 84341 worked on 08/31/12

157. The following codes have expired (at least they were for me):

60 Min. (or greater)60 Min.67861
60 Min. (or greater)40 Min.98456
60 Min. (or greater)30 Min.72685

158. All good things come to an end…

On 9/24/2012, the following codes didn’t work: 67861, 98456, 72685.

84341 worked, for 30 minutes bonus on a 60 minute card.

P.S. Captcha codes aren’t working!

159. Tried adding a 200 min card today (10-6-2012)

All theses codes came back expired:
65091
81898
78133
87562
73980
35100
67861

Code 20457 worked for 50 minute bonus.

Thanks for the updates. Hope this saves others some frustration.

160. Confirmed 67861 does not work anymore. Dang, been using it for about a year now. Could’nt try any other codes, told to call 1-800 # which will probably use up any bonus minutes anyway :(

161. I tried to use 84341 twice more (so 3 times total in Oct), but the last time I entered it, I was told I’d used up my uses of that number and to try another. So as of 10/25/12, 23497 works for 30 bonus minutes on a 60-minute card.

162. The following reported expired as of 11-20-2012:
20982
24332

Successfully used 99908 for 100 extra minutes on 450 minutes. It’s a TMFL phone, so got 1450 minutes altogether. :-)

Thank you!!!

163. 67861,30878,98456,72685,60491,58906 all came up as expired
84341 was successful for 30 min bonus. Was for 60 min, dmfl phone. total 150min with the bonus.

164. As of Nov 27 the following codes DO NOT WORK with a 60 min card.
67861 30878 98456
Tracfone gave me three tries and then it processed my 60 min card without any bonus min. Keep this in mind when adding cards.

165. Bought a 60 Minute card on Dec. 11 and punched in code 67861 for the bonus 60 mins. Code 67861 did not work. However code 30878 (40 bonus mins.) still works as of Dec. 15.

166. 77578 for 100 bonus mins on a 200min card worked for me on 12/15 which on my DMFL phone gave me 500 mins, Gotta love that, Thanks!!

167. Hello Patrick,
I tried bonus codes 65091,77578, 67861, and 84341 today (18 Dec. 2012) and only the last one worked for 60 bonus minutes in a NON-DMFL LG100c phone activation.
I started with a 60 min. card PIN purchased from CallingMart. Again, only 84341 worked today.
Thanks for the list.
Mike

168. As an aside, I had to enter Tracfone’s (TF) multiple lines of code for 6 pages, and I just used the back button (my cache) to verify bonus code 84341. That’s true, 60 min. bonus.

I have ported my main number to PagePlus Cellular because for the second time, Tracfone’s “Loss Prevention” Department has cut my cell off with no warning nor explanation. I will NOT go back to Tracfone. Ever.

I guess I could consider myself “lucky” for getting my primary number out of Tracfone’s death grip, but that’s all they would let me take this time. I had over 450 legitimate minutes and service paid til July, 2013 this time. My cell is my only phone – no landline!

I went through this back in 2009, and I wound up sending TF two certified letters and one lengthy FAX with copies of all my receipts and a lengthy explanation of how I got all those minutes. I lost cell service for five months while all this BS transpired between TF and myself.

I thought our “problems” were behind us, but I thought wrong!

• Hey Mike
I don’t fault you in the least for taking your business elsewhere. I’ll never understand why TracFone just can’t be honest and up front about their “loss prevention.” Instead they have to pull this Cloak-and-dagger BS. I think the problem is their own fault, with a poorly designed system that tracks minutes and days on the phone, rather than over the network as the other prepaids do. This allows a few bad apples to exploit loopholes.
Unfortunately Tracfone still has more comprehensive coverage than any other prepaids I’ve tried, and that’s what keeps me with them. Page Plus is definitely my second choice, but unfortunately there’s a weird glitch in their coverage in an area that I visit frequently. So I stick with TracFone. One very nice thing about Page Plus is the ability to bring a phone of your own choice.
How are you liking Page Plus? What phone are you using with them?
Thanks,
Patrick

• Patrick,
I have been planning this move to PagePlus Cellular for over a year, but was pushed out by Tracfone (TF) earlier than anticipated! TF does give you the option of migrating from a GSM network to a CDMA (Verizon) network and taking your minutes and “days of service” with you. MVNO operations like TF have greater mobility if you move frequently, like in the Armed Forces, or for people like yourself who can’t stay with one CDMA carrier because of spotty performance.

I live in a rural area and CDMA seems to provide more solid coverage here. I chose CDMA and PagePlus because of an outstanding cell produced by Motorola called the E815. It is an older “dumb phone” that suits me well for SMS (texts) and voice calls. I am not into using the Internet over my phone, and want a phone to make dependable calls under poor conditions. So far, the E815 is about two bars in signal strength better than the previous LG 220c model from TF.

Best regards,
Mike

• Hey Mike
Thanks for following up. I really appreciate your input on the page plus experience as well as your moto e815 recommendation. Can I ask where you found that model?
I’m happy you found a home at Page Plus, even though I’ll miss your comments here.

169. Code 86365 has been raised from the dead by TracFone. You have it listed as expired. I just got a text message from the company saying it is good for 50 min. free if used by 12/31.

170. Why should I post when they are deleted?
Perhaps it’s the bad news that some of the codes are expired?
I just added a DMFL card on a TF that did not have such a feature. None of your “bonus codes” worked…

• Hey Mike
Sorry I didn’t approve your posts right away – just been busy with holiday stuff and travelling to visit relatives, so I didn’t get comments approved for a few days. Nothing was deleted, though, I swear it!
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with the bonus codes – I welcome all input, especially if you can tell me about an expired code.
Warm regards,
Patrick

171. 1/4/13
67861-no
30878-no

This is the first time in over a year that I added airtime and none of the promo codes I tried worked :( No free minutes this time around on my 90 min card. gosh golly darn…not a happy day

I really hope the next time around I’ll have better luck

172. 73475 worked for a 1 yr + 400 minute card. but provided only 250 minutes. It wouldn’t work for a 450 minute card. Although I’m not absolutely positive since I used an ebay seller who doesn’t send a PIN, they put it on for you after you provide them with your phone number and promo code.

173. Today (1/19/13), I tried to add a 60-minute/90-day airtime card on-line using promo codes in the above database (updated as of January 12), and the following were indicated as “expired” on the Tracfone Web site:
67861, 30878, 98456, 72685, 60491, 84341, 23497, 94883, 54496.

I was finally successful using 55698 for 20 bonus minutes. That may be one of the few, or the only one, of all the 60-minute promo codes listed above that are still valid. It seems that Tracfone is not very “charitable” at the moment, which is probably an indication that “business is very good for Tracfone”. :-)

175. Tried a bunch of 60 minute codes. Every last one was invalid. What is the point of posting garbage codes that don’t work?

176. Reading the posts I would suggest the people read the most current post for a number that worked and then go to the list and choose one to appears to be still working. Write several down so when you go to use it if it expired can go to the next one. That’s what I do and have no problem (but I also activate the card on Tracfone site not via my phone)

177. Hi, Worked my way down the whole list of codes for 60 minutes (or greater)
All are expired until this one: 28805. That one went through just fine. It is for 20 bonus minutes with the purchase of 60 (or greater) I didn’t try any below that. Just went with the first one that went through and posted it here for the next person in line. :)

178. For a 60 minute card on 2/3/13, starting from the top of list, I tried all, except those marked expired. The first one to finally be accepted was 28805 for 20 bonus minutes. All the others down to that point said they were expired!

179. The following codes all prompted Tracfone’s website to tell me that they have expired on 04FEB13:

13062, 24332, 65881, 86106, 77578, 99908, 81898, 37617, 47640, 29640.

Several other quality codes (e.g. 400 minutes on 400 minute or above card) stated that they were not available for my phone (LG800G). Finally, 78041 (60 minutes added to 400+) did work. Disappointing, but better than a kick in the face. Thanks!

180. Code 23794, to add 30 minutes to a 60 minute card, didn’t work just now. 2/5/13 10PM. I went through a long list of codes last month when adding a 60 minute card, must have run through 10 of them. None of them worked.

It appears that damn few, if any, Promo Codes actually work now.

181. Used 28805 and got a total of 170 minutes. The following codes were not usable for my phone:
67861 30878 98456 72685 60491 84341 23497 94883 54496.

183. My family tried the following codes on Feb. 7, 2013 and were not accepted:
67801 30878 98456 54496
94074 66836 58324 70826 6\861 99518 40305 86692 85147 54496

The following codes were not accepted on Feb. 15, 2013:
72685 60491 84341 23497 94883 28805 83118 55698

184. March 9th had luck with the following codes for our 60 min cards…..

54496 (30 mins) – Did not work.
28805 (20 mins) – Did not work.

185. I just used promo code 55698 for 20 min on a 60min card. recieved a total of 140 min. 60 plus double plus the 20 Bonus min.

186. Code 74316 for 60 bonus minutes on a 200 minute card worked!! Triple minutes phone for a total of 660 minutes!! Thanks Again!!!

187. On March 23, I had no luck with codes 30878, 98456, and 84341. Tracfone just gave me the usual error message on the first two codes, but with 84341, I got a pop-up that said something like, this code can’t be validated, and it sent me straight through to check-out without giving me a chance to try another code.

188. Code 74316 worked (add 60 minutes to 200 minute purchase, with DMFL = 460 minutes for $43.87 with tax) on 23MAR13.

Also, email for 250 bonus minutes with 1 year purchase using code 70797 but the above actually costs me less per minute.

Thanks!

189. 83118 didn’t work. Used 55698 with a 60 minute card DMFL total 140 minutes. Thanks to all for weeding out the expired numbers.

• I’ve never tried it, but I guess my thought is “what’s the worst that can happen?” Especially if you’ve got TMFL on your phone, that 1500 minute plan is a very good deal.

190. used code-84464 on dmfl phone got 60 for card ( 60 minute card ) other 60 dmfl plus 30 =150 total would not let me try any more promo codes….could be because i tried so many yesterday ?

191. Wow! It’s getting harder and harder to find a code that will work. Tried 3 or 4 before I found one that worked. At least I got 40 bonus minutes for a 120 card.

192. The following codes did NOT work for me with a 120min card on 4/16/13:
94074, 66836, 58324, 99518
After the 4th attempt it did not give me any more chances to try a code :(
I have a triple min phone but this is the first time I was unable to successfully apply a promo code, unfortunately it seems to be true that promo codes are getting hard to come by. I am glad I made the switch a couple months ago to a TMFL phone.

193. Codes 21480, 33987, 39325, 26573, 73475, and 70797 did not work for a 400 min. 1 year card. Code 19921 did work and gave me 250 bonus minutes.

194. codes for 60 minute card did not work 67861-98456-58906-19328-86280–only one that worked was 40020 for 20 bonus minutes…..:(
